R. Edison (Ed) Hill is a member/partner in the law firm of Hill, Peterson, Carper, Bee & Deitzler, PLLC. He founded this firm in June 1980 after leaving a large corporate law firm where he worked as an associate for three years. Mr. Hill is a trial attorney and spends his professional career exclusively representing individuals who have been seriously injured or families of wrongful death victims who have lost their lives as a result of others’ negligence. Mr. Hill’s firm focuses on personal injury, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, and auto accidents in Charleston, West Virginia.
Mr. Hill was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, February 24, 1950. He was admitted to the West Virginia Bar in 1976. He graduated with a J.D. from the West West Virginia University College of Law in 1976 and got his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University in Biology in 1972,
Mr. Hill is a member of the Kanawha County Bar Association; West Virginia State Bar; American Association for Justice (Life Member); West Virginia Association for Justice (President, 1993-1994; Member, Board of Governors); Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association; Southern Trial Lawyers Association; and Consumer Attorneys of West Virginia.

He was founder of Hill & Wood, Charleston, West Virginia, June 1980 and founded Hill & Peterson in 1984.
He is Chairman of Central West Virginia Regional Airport Authority, Charleston, West Virginia and currently serves on Yeager Airport Board of Directors, July 1993—. He is also a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocacy Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.
