Iam interested in aquiring a lawyer because for the past three years I was an employee of the children's home of Burlington County NJ for 2and a haalf years as a residential counselor. However because my supervisor Danielle Beaty didn't like me for what ever reason she constantly put me under scrutiny about my preformance and my weight. I recieved my raise in july of 2010 because I rarely called out of work and attened all meetings from 20008-2010. she and her assitant supervior Cherise Johnson had made statements that I wasn't kind to the clients . How ever in the past staff have left children unattended which caused them to steal and personal harm ,and none of these things happened on my shift. When she lessened my hours Danielle Beaty nor Yvette Marshall never called me for hours to keep my employment and I was on their payroll until May 2011 which I find odd because when I aquired about hours in the human resource office Angie Mcgee never gave me any contact numbers. I know Nj is an at will state but to discriminate against a person because of her weight is wrong and was constantly being brought up that my fellow eployees were talking behind my back and my supervisor has addressed it during my yearly evaluation. I feel that I was treated unjustly and want to know what my options are.
