Governor Schwarzenegger Signs Sex Offender Legislation
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger disclosed the authority of two bills that will give law enforcement more resources to monitor and prosecute registered San Diego sex assault and sexually violent predators. Governor Schwarzenegger said his reasons for signing the bills were as follows:
"We must do everything in our power to provide law enforcement with the resources necessary to protect the public," said Governor Schwarzenegger. "Public safety is a top priority and with these bills, we will be able to better monitor and prosecute sex offenders and sexually violent predators to the fullest extent of the law - making our streets safer from these dangerous predators."
This will help better monitor sex crime criminals by keeping an eye out on their every move especially around younger adults and children. As a San Diego sex abuse attorney this bill will provide evidence in a jury trial that sex offenders conditions have not changed.
