Albert S. Golbert was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1964 and is a member of the American Society of International Law (Co-Chairperson, Membership Committee, 1982-1984). Mr. Golbert was also a member of the American Bar Association where he was a member and on the Board of Editors (1975-’76). He is a founding member of the Committee on International Practice of the Business Law Section (1986-87) and of the Section of International Law (Member of the Executive Committee, 1987-90, Treasurer, 1989-90, Advisor, 1990-93 and Advisor Emeritus, 1993-) of the State Bar of California as well as a member of the International Tax Committee (1991-present).
Mr. Golbert has achieved astounding success during his professional career such as being listed as Best Layers in America, as well as receiving the Dana Latham Award (2000) for lifetime achievement and commitment to Los Angeles County Tax Bar.
